Attire and equipment for training:
Tops: T-shirt – short or long (long is recommended)
Bottoms: Athletic pants (sweats), tactical pants. No shorts.
Foot ware: Wrestling shoes or tennis shoes.
Equipment: Entry vests, tennis shoes, helmets, eye protection, hand cuffs, any gear worn on an enforcement action, etc. – with the exclusion of any WEAPONS.
**leave all WEAPONS and live AMMUNITION in vehicle. Bring in your entry gear after lunch.
Morning session - we will cover take down techniques followed by stabilizing and handcuffing.
Afternoon session - we will review the morning techniques and then, we will have a practical that will involve agents/TFO wearing some of their entry gear.
Class will start at 0900 hours. We’ll end when done. There will be a lunch break provided.
