OBN RDS transition course is designed to provide the agent/officer with an understanding of the basic operation of the MRDS and to build skills needed to utilize the MRDS. Agents/Officers will shoot multiple drills to build skills in pistol draws from the duty holster to quickly acquire the MRDS. Agents/officers will have a basic understanding of the advantages of utilizing a single focal plane optic on a pistol as well as the basic maintenance and use procedures.
