This course is designed to provide attendees with the foundational skills to conduct drug investigations. Topics covered will include drug identification, use of confidential informants, undercover operations, surveillance operations, prescription drug investigations, clandestine laboratory recognition, and numerous other topics. This course will involve classroom and scenario-based training.
There is no cost to enroll in this training, however an application must be turned in and approved for all students wishing to attend this course. Each attendee must be in an “on duty” status with their agency while in attendance. Each attendee is responsible for their own lodging and travel expenses while attending the course.
Class size will be limited to 40 students. We will fill the class with OBN agents first then open the remaining seats up to outside agencies on a first come first served basis that will follow the order of the completed applications received.
