Pistol Fundamentals - Okmulgee

Pistol Fundamentals is a basic Auto Loading Pistol (ALP) course designed to provide the officer with a refresher with the fundamentals of shooting an ALP. Officers will start from the basics of shooting accurately: Safety, Stance, Grip/Locked Wrist, Sight Alignment, Breath Control, Trigger Control & Follow-Through. The officer will be shown and perform various positions to shoot from. The officer will demonstrate safe positions to shoot from behind a barricade.
TRAINING AIDS REQUIRED: Duty Firearm, 400 rounds of quality ammunition, Duty belt/holster, extra magazines, Eye Protection & Hearing Protection
