Deconfliction is the process of identifying and resolving operational conflicts between law enforcement agencies to prevent overlap, duplication, or accidental confrontation.

Primary Goal: Prevent “blue-on-blue” incidents—where multiple agencies unknowingly target the same suspect, location, or timeframe.
Systems Used: Oklahoma uses Case Explorer, a nationally recognized deconfliction platform available 24/7 and free to all law enforcement agencies.
OBN has long championed deconfliction practices to prevent “blue-on-blue” incidents—where multiple agencies unknowingly target the same suspect or location.
